Of all of the many different chaplets, this is probably the most elaborate. It consists of nine groups of four beads each, consisting of three Aves and one pater on each. The nine groups are in honor of the nine choirs of angels. This chaplet was given to a devout servant of God, Antonia in an apparition by St. Michael. To all who should recite the nine salutations everyday, before receiving Holy Communion, he promised that an angel of nine choirs would be assigned to accompany them to the Holy Table. He also promised continual assistance during life, and after death, and the deliverance of the souls of them and their relatives from the pains of purgatory.
